YA Author Prom

Earlier this week I went to the prom. No, not a high school prom (mine was many moons ago), the YA Author Prom! Everyone's already blogged about this, but just in case you've been trapped under something heavy for the past few days, this was a very fun party where lots of YA authors from the NYC area dressed up in their prommy finest, boogied to 80's music, and partied like it was 1992! The inspiration for this enchanted evening was the release of the new YA anthology, 21 PROMS, with proceeds from both the party and the book benefiting Advocates for Youth.
