Greater Pittsburgh Festival of Books 2025

Hello, Pittsburgh readers! Very excited to be one of the guest authors at the Greater Pittsburgh Festival of Books this weekend! On Fri May 30 at 6pm, I'll be a featured author at the A Novel Evening dinner. And on Sat May 31 at 10am, I'll be on the A Little Pixie Dust: Exploring Cozy Fantasy panel with Sydney J. Shields and S.L. Rowland, which will be followed by a book signing at the tent. Hope to see you there!

Happy paperback book birthday to THE SPELLSHOP!!! My cozy fantasy about a librarian and her best friend -- a sentient spider plant -- who open a rather illegal spellshop is out today in paperback with a velvety soft cover and gorgeous lavender sprayed edges! And it also includes a sneak peek at THE ENCHANTED GREENHOUSE (which comes out in July)! So much yay! I loved writing this book, and I'm so thrilled the paperback is now out in the world!

THE RELUCTANT QUEEN out now with Brand New Cover!

Happy book rebirthday to THE RELUCTANT QUEEN! Harper Voyager is re-releasing all three books of my Queens of Renthia epic fantasy trilogy, originally published nearly a decade ago, in trade paperback with gorgeous new covers by Alexander Jansson! Book two is out today, book one came out last month, and book three comes out on 6/3.

Fun fact: I started writing book two first! This was the book that my agent and I submitted to publishers. When Harper Voyager made a pre-empt offer for it, they asked for a prequel and a sequel too, and so this trilogy, about bloodthirsty nature spirits and the queens who can control them, was born!
